The RPG is set during Second Season of the series (Book 2: Earth)
Thus far:
Long ago the four nations lived together in harmony. Then everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked. Only the Avatar, master of all four elements could stop them. But when the world needed him most, he vanished. A hundred years passed and my brother and I discovered the new Avatar, an Airbender named Aang. And although his air bending skills are great, he has a lot to learn before he's ready to save anyone. But I believe, Aang can save the world.
The world has been at war against the Fire Nation for a century and all hope seems lost until, one day, a girl named Katara and her older brother Sokka are out fishing amongst the icebergs of their South Pole home. During a small spat, Katara's ability to "bend" the water around her uncovers a strange chunk of ice with what looks like a boy inside. The ice cracks open and the boy emerges, and they realize that he's an Airbender, a member of a race that's been extinct for a hundred years. When they bring him home to their village, their grandmother believes that this boy, called Aang may be the Avatar who disappeared just before the Airbender genocide.
After being attacked by the banished Fire Nation prince, Zuko, Katara, Sokka, and Aang journey north to begin Aang's mastery of the Four Elements.
After helping win the seige at the Northern Water Tribe, the team heads to the Earth Kingdom to find Aang an Earthbending teacher. Zuko and his Uncle Iroh are branded as traitors to the Fire Nation and are on the run in the Earth Kingdom. Meanwhile, a new adversary is set on the Avatar's trail: Azula, Zuko's younger sister and princess of the Fire Nation, considered a prodigy, the heroes have a difficult time trying to fend her off, especially after she's joined by her two deadly friends.
Recently, Aang and his friends have met up with Toph, a young, blind Earthbender who's agreed to be Aang's teacher and she has joined the group.
